So there is little man…
…in the midst of a vast universe breathed into existence by Almighty God, who also created all the animals in every shape, color, and size, and all the flowers and insects with their incomprehensible magnificence. Yet somehow, little man presumes to judge his Creator incompetent to raise children. Does man know better how to raise a child than God, the Father of all mankind? That is as absurd as a little child telling an astronaut how to space walk before he can even crawl. “Hey, just get rid of those cables. I’ll bet you can bounce much higher without them. They just hold you down!”
God lovingly created mankind, who has for millennia been living generally by the natural law known to all in their conscience. Like the moon in the darkness of the night, this flickering light shines as a guiding beacon in this dark world, helping us know right from wrong.
Generation after generation has recognized the authority of parents, and it has kept them from going too far off track. But somehow, in these last generations, we’ve been duped. We are facing a new generation who are growing out of control.
I did not believe in spanking children before I met the Twelve Tribes. I felt sure that anything that caused pain to a child could not be a good thing. I judged God as being a harsh God who liked to punish people. I was convinced that there had to be another way that did not involve pain. Then I came across a people who lived by the Word of God, and I began to understand how much God really loves mankind.
While all discipline seems painful at the time, it bears the peaceful fruit of righteousness, which is plain to see in the wonderful children we raise according to the Word of God in all of our communities.
The fruit is evident: happy, content, hospitable little human beings, thankful to help out, while maintaining all dignity and respect.
One day all of mankind will meet their Maker face to face. At that time, the Creator will have mankind in the dock for the way each one of us has lived our lives.
God will judge us in the same way that we judged Him.
Those who threw God’s Word into prison will have no other place to go than the eternal prison prepared for those who defy His good intentions toward us, His beloved creatures.
Common sense says, “If you want to fix a car, go get advice from the one who created it.”
